OnGrade Machine Control, a renowned Xwatch dealer and installer, has recently completed a really interesting installation for G R Potter Plant Hire. This project involved equipping a high-end bespoke Caterpillar Inc. 308 with comprehensive Xwatch Safety Solutions, fully integrated with Leica Geosystems technology from Hexagon. This integration includes a track lock feature and involved a complex setup with Engcon integration, a swing boom, and a 3D avoidance system. The entire system was precisely installed and calibrated by the skilled OnGrade installation and support team.
Established in 1994 by Giles Potter, Potter Plant Hire started with a single CAT traxcavator. Since then, the company has experienced significant growth, developing a robust customer base. Its fleet has expanded to over 300 machines, supported by a network of skilled operators across the UK.
OnGrade Machine Control believes that machine control solutions are rapidly becoming essential for modern construction sites. These solutions enhance productivity, minimise material movements, and consistently deliver precise results. By adopting these technologies, OnGrade aims to help reduce operational costs from the outset.
As an authorised dealer for Xwatch and Leica machine control systems, OnGrade offers installation and support for 3D avoidance solutions across Europe. Comprehensive training for each system is also available, ensuring optimal use and understanding of the technology.
