The Porter Group, known for supplying heavy equipment in New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the United States, has joined hands with Fulton Hogan for an important project. Their goal has always been simple: provide top-quality machines to their customers. A standout feature of this partnership is the use of Xwatch Safety Systems, a leading name in jobsite safety.

Jason Hilton, National Key Account Manager of Porter Group, shared, “Porter Hire was asked by Fulton Hogan to provide excavator options with height and slew control. These are needed to ensure safe operation in a tight corridor with utilities placed above, below, and alongside the working zone. The Xwatch XW4 system was chosen as the best aftermarket solution for this project and was fitted to our Hyundai HX235LCR and HX145ALCR excavators for use on site.”
Dan Leaney, Xwatch Sales and Operations Director added, “Collaborating with Porter Hire and Fulton Hogan solidifies our shared dedication to global safety standards. It's partnerships like these that drive industry improvements.”
The project showcases the Hyundai HX235 & HX145 in trench work, equipped with rubber cleats and the aforementioned Xwatch systems. Additionally, the Hyundai HL940 Toolmaster loader, known for its user-friendliness, has been an asset, offering great visibility and essential safety features. This collaboration between Porter Hire and Fulton Hogan underlines both companies' commitment to safety and quality in the industry.
