*GJ Plant & Auto Electrics Gareth James was asked to fit another Xwatch SS1, for a very good customer of his, Gradewell Plant and Haulage LTD, on a Hitachi machine which was heading for a boat to Ireland - ready for work the following morning. The company has a number of Xwatch SS1 systems on their fleet.
What is the SS1?
The SS1 (Simple Safe One) is a is a no-nonsense angular motion limiter that can be used on a variety of hydraulic plant to provide basic height limitation where the sophistication of the Xwatch XW Series products is not required. Operation is simple and fool-proof. The control key can be removed to provide permanent limitation if required.
