Xwatch engineer Derek Mitchell has completed an SS1 system installation on a CASE CX85E excavator for HRN Tractors Ltd in Scotland.
HRN Tractors is a well-established name in Scottish machinery, supplying agricultural, construction and groundcare equipment from depots across the country. The business represents a number of leading brands and is also CASE Construction Equipment’s dealer for Scotland, supporting customers with sales, service and parts across the region.
This latest installation saw the Xwatch SS1 height limiter fitted to a CASE CX85E, an 8–10-tonne midi excavator designed for contractors who need compact dimensions, good digging performance, and the ability to work across varied sites.
The SS1 is a smart choice for machines where straightforward height control is the priority. Not every application needs a full Xwatch system with height, slew, rated-capacity indicator, and 3D machine-control integration.
